We make bows because we do not believe in ordinary days. A bow on a dog is not strictly necessary, which is exactly why it matters — a small act of colour, audacity and joy in a world that could use more of all three.

Our bows are designed with a fondness for offbeat charm — a neat check against a floral, a serious stripe with an unserious centre, a sailor tail that gives the whole thing a little more ceremony. Every bow feels more like a tiny piece of styling than something pulled from a production line.

We Use 100% Reclaimed Fabric

A shirt, dress, curtain, remnant or forgotten piece of fabric can become something beautiful again.

That is where the best fabrics often come from: prints with a past life, colours you do not see everywhere, and small details that make each bow truly different.

Because we work with reclaimed fabrics, most bows are made in limited numbers. Some designs only make a handful of pieces, then they are gone.

We make properly big bows, including some of the biggest dog bows in Australia — for Great Danes, Mastiffs, St Bernards and other supersized dogs.

Each one is designed to sit beautifully on collars and most harness straps, with double Velcro loops for easy on, off and adjusting.

Beaus & Bandits is run from FNQ by one human and one very involved dog. A tiny business where bows are cut, sewn, checked and packed by hand, for dogs who make ordinary days anything but ordinary.
